WELCOME TO AUTOMATED LIBRARY OF RAIPUR REGION POWERED BY e-GRANTHALAYA FROM NIC. The KV No.1Raipur library has a wide collection of print and non print books about 16377  well selected books almost all subjects ranging from English, Hindi, fiction, non-fiction & reference books such as encyclopedias, dictionaries.yearbook,annuals etc. The school subscribes to leading 6 newspapers and 48 magazines. Open access system are followed.. Bar-Coding system is followed for issue retuned of the books and registration of the members. Various competitions related to reading and creative writing are organized to encourage extra Supplementary reading. All the students ,teachers & patron of KV No.1 Raipur can search titles of KV No.1 Raipur library at their convenient time with the click of mouse over internet.In the Golden Jublee Year of KVS we are tried to change the library in to Information Meadia Centre .Our motto is to Be the knowledge hub of the school and disseminate knowledge as widely as possible. It is Our Privilege that the Commissioner KVS and Joint Commissioner KVS taking the meeting with Principal of Raipur Region in our Vidyalaya Library.

In our school we have set up junior library that is class library system for Primary section and central library for class vi to xii students and staff .it is situated in cental location of vidyalaya.the concept of green libraries are adopted. This year we have tried to change the interiors like furniture and equipment to fulfill the need as per policy.

This year we will mainly focus on creating multimedia, digital /web resources, open educational resources and e books etc.
